OceanFootage allows you to make detailed searches to quickly find the exact shot you need. We represent the best cinematographers throughout the world, eliminating the hassles of working with numerous individual providers. Find the exact video clip you need using advanced searches, or browse subject categories from A-Z.

Preview Video Clips Online
All stock footage can be previewed online. Click on any representative thumbnail image to play the video clip and view the clip details. A Movie Popup window will open to reveal the video clip, subject description, camera format, cinematographer and the licensing rates. You will need Quicktime Player installed on your computer to view the video clips on this site.

Free Research
If you can’t find the exact shot you need online, send us a Shot Request and OceanFootage can either track down stock footage or set up a custom shoot through our global network of over 150 cinematographers. Our extensive ready-to-access online collection is expanding each month as new cinematographers join OceanFootage.

Video Downloads
OceanFootage allows clients to download Quicktime Preview Video Clips at no charge (Sorenson 320x240, 25-30 frames per second). The free video download option above is NOT available for Academic Use or for any Public Display. To enable your free video download, you must first register with OceanFootage, then add the desired video clips to your Cart. Then simply select the View Cart link and choose Order Preview Clips. Once your order has been reviewed, we will forward you a link which will allow you to download the free preview video clips. You can also choose to order for $50 up to 25 full-frame (MPEG-2 or DV video) watermarked preview clips via download, ideal for offline editing on a non-linear editing system for in-house review. You can also request preview stock footage with timecode burn on a VHS tape or DVD for $75.

Clear Pricing and Licensing Terms (Pricing Guide)
OceanFootage allows you to see price information up front, right from the start of the preview process, with prices that vary to meet a wide range of budgets. OceanFootage offers clear pricing and licensing terms that appear in the Movie Popup window when you view Preview Clips. The license rates are set by the cinematographer and are based on originating camera format and rarity of stock footage. Online rates are available for Non-Broadcast and Broadcast Use. For Advertising and Theatrical Use, please call for a quote.

Master Stock Footage in the Format You Need (Ordering Guide)
From SD to HD video and film, you select the source and delivery format best for your project. All master stock footage is available to license online, with delivery available in any tape format or by download.
